Job Description
• Be able to independently set up and operate a flexo printer-slotter and rotary die-cutting
machine
• Understand plate mounting, ink preparation, colour registration, feeding, scoring, slotting
and die cutting
• Be able to identify and correct printing and production defects
• Be able to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance
• Have forklift experience for moving corrugated sheets from the warehouse to the machine
• Be flexible and willing to perform other reasonable duties when production is not busy
• Be willing to relocate to Metro Vancouver, British Columbia
• Assistant operators or applicants whose experience is limited to feeding, stacking or cleaning
will not qualify.
• Already be able to speak and understand French at an intermediate level
• Be willing to take TEF Canada or TCF Canada
• Obtain at least NCLC 5 in French speaking and listening before submitting the
• Canadian work-permit application
• French reading and writing scores are not required to reach NCLC 5.
🎓 Qualifications
• Age: 25-45 years old
• Candidate must be Vocational Graduate
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience with verifiable COE
• Have extensive experience operating flexographic printing equipment for corrugated boxes
• Be able to independently set up and operate a flexo printer-slotter and rotary die-cuttingmachine
