Job Description
• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g.,
micrometers, calipers
• Prepare metal parts by cleaning, degreasing, polishing, sandblasting, and removing rust or
contaminants before plating.
• Set up and operate chrome plating tanks, rectifiers, and other electroplating equipment.
• Apply hard chrome or decorative chrome coatings according to engineering specifications
and customer requirements.
• Monitor plating time, voltage, current, temperature, and chemical concentrations to ensure
consistent coating quality.
• Measure coating thickness using appropriate inspection tools and verify compliance with
quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as peeling, pitting, blistering, discoloration, or
uneven plating.
• Perform buffing and polishing to achieve the required surface finish.
• Mix, maintain, and replenish plating solutions while following chemical handling procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance on plating equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and plating specifications.
• Follow workplace safety regulations, wear proper PPE, and comply with environmental
regulations for handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals.
🎓 Qualifications
• Age: 25-45 years old
• Candidate must be Vocational Graduate
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience with verifiable COE
