Job Description
• Preparing pool surfaces (concrete, fibreglass, or other substrates) for tiling, including surface
cleaning, patching, and waterproofing.
• Measuring, cutting, and laying tiles, mosaics, and waterline tiles for pools, spas, and
surrounding decking.
• Applying waterproof membranes and appropriate
• adhesives/grouts suited for wet, chlorinated, or saltwater environments.
• Installing pool coping tiles and edge details to ensure proper water flow and safety.
• Ensuring correct falls/slopes around pool areas for proper drainage.
• Reading and working from blueprints, layouts, or design specifications.
• Repairing and replacing damaged or loose pool tiles.
• Checking finished work for levelness, alignment, and quality of grout lines.
• Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring worksite cleanliness and safety.
• Working as part of a reliable, detail-oriented team, often coordinating with pool builders and
other trades.

• Male applicants only
• Age: 25-45 years old
• Willing to take ielts
• High school diploma or equivalent; TESDA certification or equivalent trade qualification in
tiling is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in tiling work, with proven, hands-on Nswimming pool tiling
experience (waterline tiles, coping, mosaics, wet- area waterproofing).
• Knowledge of tiling materials and techniques suited for pools (e.g. porcelain, glass mosaic,
natural stone) and pool-grade adhesives/grouts.
• Skilled in the use of tiling tools (tile cutters, wet saws, trowels, spirit levels, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and precision, especially with alignment, spacing, and finishing.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to kneel, bend, lift, and stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various
weather conditions.
• Age: 25-45 years old
