Job Description
Install residential, commercial and off-grid solar PV systems on homes, commercial
buildings, farms, schools, marae and community sites.
Install roof- and ground-mounted PV modules, rail and mounting systems, roof flashings,
cable pathways and associated mechanical components.
Install DC string cabling, connectors, isolators, combiner equipment, surge protection,
earthing and associated solar protection devices.
Carry out solar PV installations in accordance with electrical standards, manufacturer
requirements, project specifications and health and safety procedures.

Age: 25-45 years old
At least Vocational Graduate
With Valid License
Willing to take EILTs/PTE
with verifiable COE
Good spoken and written English is required
Overseas-qualified electrician with a minimum of 6 years / 12,000 hours of documented Relevant employer or supervisor references that can verify dates, hours and prescribed
electrical work.
Demonstrated domestic, commercial and/or industrial electrical wiring experience.
Demonstrated practical experience in rooftop solar PV and battery energy storage
systems.
Demonstrated experience with grid-connected PV systems, inverter systems, electrical
protection, testing, commissioning and fault-finding.
Deye inverter and battery experience is preferred, with equivalent products considered.
