Job Description
The Site Manager is PNG CR Services Company's senior representative on site for a single project.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day running of the site — leading Site Supervisors and trade teams, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping the Construction Manager and Project Manager informed through daily and weekly reporting.
The Site Manager is the primary point of accountability for what happens on site each day.
Lead and direct the Site Supervisor(s), Trade Supervisors and site labour force for the assigned project on a daily basis.
Monitor daily progress against the construction programme and advise the Project
Manager and Construction Manager of any slippage immediately.
Ensure all work on site is carried out in accordance with current IFC drawings and approved specifications — no work proceeds against superseded documents.
Ensure all site personnel and subcontractors comply with the project's WHS management plan and site-specific SWMS at all times.
Coordinate subcontractor site access, sequencing and day-to-day direction in line with the construction programme.
Submit a Daily Site Report (DSR) covering progress, safety, quality and resourcing for every working day.

🎓 Qualifications
Male/Female applicants only
Age: 25-45 years old
Trade qualification, diploma or degree in Construction Management, Building or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum 5 years in a site supervision or site management role within a building
construction environment.
Sound working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and reading of construction drawings and specifications.
Working knowledge of applicable WHS legislation, Australian Standards and PNG building
regulations relevant to the works.
Experience on Australian Government-funded construction projects in PNG or the
Pacific. Current first aid certification.
Age: 25-45 years old
