Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is the primary delivery accountable for all assigned projects within PNG CR Services Company's active portfolio.
The PM owns each project end-to-end across six defined phases — from contract award and project establishment, through mobilization, active construction and practical completion, to defects rectification and financial close.
The PM is the single point of accountability for the client, the COO and the business at all times.
The PM is supported by a dedicated Contracts Administrator (CA) who manages all formal contract administration, and by shared support functions covering construction management, project controls, QA/QC, HSE, design, estimating and procurement.
The PM is responsible for directing and enabling all support functions to perform their roles effectively.
The CA's full roles and responsibilities are set out in the separate CA Roles & Responsibilities document.
The PM must read and understand that document as part of accepting this role.

🎓 Qualifications
Male/Female applicants only
Age: 25-45 years old
Degree or diploma in Construction Management,Engineering, Building or a related
discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Minimum 5 years in a project management role within a construction contracting
environment. Demonstrated experience managing projects from contract award through to
practical completion and financial close.
Sound working knowledge of construction contract conditions — ability to read, interpret
and apply contract obligations in practice. Familiarity with AS4000, NEC, FIDIC or PNG Head Contract forms preferred.
Ability to manage project budgets, monitor cost performance, identify commercial risks and
maintain a viable FEC throughout delivery
Demonstrated ability to manage a project programme, identify delays, coordinate recovery
actions and support EOT claims with programme evidence.
Proven ability to manage client and superintendent relationships professionally across the
full project lifecycle, including formal correspondence and dispute avoidance.
Experience on Australian Government-fundedconstruction projects in PNG or the Pacific.
Familiarity with AFP, SDP or similar client frameworks and reporting standards is a significant advantage.
