Job Description
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Align and position pipes using lasers, levels, and grade equipment.
• Prepare trenches and bedding materials for proper pipe installation.
• join large pipes using gaskets, welding, bolting, or other approved methods.
• Operate and work safely around excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
• Ensure correct pipe grade, alignment, and slope according to project requirements.
• Install manholes, valves, and other pipeline components.
• Conduct pipe testing, inspections, and leak checks when required.
• Follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures on construction sites.
• Communicate with supervisors, engineers, and other crew members to coordinate
installation work.
• Backfill and compact trenches after pipe installation.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and keep the worksite clean and organized.
• Proven experience in pipeline construction, specifically with large diameter pipes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Experience working in trenching and excavation environments
• Strong understanding of pipe alignment, grading, and installation techniques
• Experience working around heavy machinery such as excavators and loaders
• Experience working on water, sewer, stormwater, or drainage infrastructure projects
• Experience with pipe joining methods such as welding, gasketing, or bolting
• Relevant construction or civil certifications or training
• Experience working on large-scale civil or infrastructure projects
• Exposure to working with structured or international site teams
🎓 Qualifications
• Age: 25-45 years old
• Candidate must be High school graduate or at least 1 year graduate in college
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience with verifiable Certificate of Employment (COE) • Has IELTS or is able to pass the IELTS exam after short-term tutoring
• Proven experience in pipeline construction, specifically with large diameter pipes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Experience working in trenching and excavation environments
• Strong understanding of pipe alignment, grading, and installation techniques
• Experience working around heavy machinery such as excavators and loaders
