JOB DESCRIPTION (CNC MACHINIST)
• Operate large press brake machinery, including 6m–12m machines, for forming heavy plate.
• Set up and operate press brake machinery according to job requirements.
• Operate fibre laser cutting machines for precision cutting of metal and heavy plate.
• Operate CNC machining and plasma cutting equipment as required.
• Handle, position, and move heavy steel plates and metal components using an overhead
crane.
• Ensure materials and components are correctly positioned and secured before operating
machinery.
• Monitor machinery during operation and make adjustments where required.
• Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality requirements are met.
• Follow production requirements and complete work accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out safe operating practices when working with heavy machinery, metal materials, and
overhead cranes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and take proper care of machinery and
equipment.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production requirements and deadlines.
• Relevant experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar metalworking/manufacturing role.
• Experience operating large press brakes, preferably 6m–12m machines.
• Experience forming and working with heavy plate.
• Experience operating fibre laser cutting machines.
• Experience with CNC machining and/or plasma cutting.
• Proven experience operating an overhead crane for handling heavy materials.
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and metal fabrication equipment.

• Candidate must be High school graduate or at least 1 year graduate in college
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CNC Machinist
• Valid driver’s license.
