Job Description

• Preparing foundations with damp-resistant materials and spreading mortar as base and
binder.
• Cutting and shaping bricks, blocks, and stone using machines and hand tools to fit irregular
spaces.
• Setting out blockwork and laying building blocks in rows, designs, and shapes.
• Embedding blocks in mortar ensuring construction is level, plumb, and aligned, and
removing excess mortar.
• Installing lintels and flashings to openings.
• Constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and segmental paving.
• Erecting and dismantling restricted-height scaffolding safely.
• Repairing and maintaining brick, block, and related structures.
🎓 Qualifications
• Age: 25-45 years old
• Candidate must be High school graduate or at least 1 year graduate in college
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in bricklaying, blocklaying, or masonry construction. • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
